Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information our games may collect, how it may be used, and the choices you have. It applies to every game published by Two Spoons, including Grockle Season, Slitherlink and Zip.
Who we are
Our games are published by Camilo Fitzgerald under the name Two Spoons, based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the controller of the information described here. You can contact us at [email protected].
Information we may collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details in order to play. When you play, our games and the services they use may automatically collect:
- device information, such as the device model, operating system, language and screen size;
- identifiers, such as an advertising identifier or another device identifier;
- network information, such as your IP address, which may be used to estimate an approximate location (for example, your country);
- how you use the game, such as levels reached, features used and how long you play;
- diagnostic information, such as crash reports and performance data;
- purchase information, such as confirmation that an in-app purchase was made (not your payment details).
How we may use it
- to run our games and keep them working;
- to understand how our games are played, so we can improve them;
- to find and fix crashes and other problems;
- to show advertising and to measure how well it performs;
- to deliver in-app purchases and restore them when you ask;
- to help prevent fraud and abuse.
Advertising
Our games may show advertisements, including rewarded adverts that you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. To do this, our games may work with third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect the information described above, including your advertising identifier, and may use it to decide which adverts to show, to limit how often you see the same advert, and to measure results. Where the law and your device settings allow, adverts may be personalised.
You can limit this at any time. Your device's privacy settings may let you stop apps from tracking you, turn off personalised adverts, or reset or delete your advertising identifier. Some games may also offer a purchase that removes adverts.
Analytics
Our games may use third-party analytics services to help us understand how the games are played and where they can be improved. These services may collect the information described above on our behalf.
In-app purchases
Our games may offer optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed by the app store you downloaded the game from, under that store's own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive confirmation that a purchase took place so that we can deliver it to you.
Your game progress
Your progress may be stored on your device. It may be included in your device's own backups, depending on your device settings. Deleting a game from your device may delete its progress.
Who we may share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us run our games, such as analytics, advertising and hosting providers. Some of these providers process information on our behalf; others, such as advertising partners, may also use it under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where information may be processed
The services our games use may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in countries whose data protection laws differ from the UK's. Where this happens, we aim to make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long information may be kept
We may keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as the law requires. Third-party services may apply their own retention periods.
Children
Our games are designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. Because we do not ask you for an account or contact details, we may need information from your device, such as your advertising identifier, to find the data a request relates to.
If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Links to other sites
Our games may contain links to other websites, such as app store pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
